Gloria started painting in 1973, and studied with a nationally known illustrator in Maryland and at Brevard Community College in Florida.

She does solo commissioned works of animals.
She has many accomplishments in different art mediums from ceramics to craft items. Her works include hummingbirds, squirrels, African wildlife and one of a kind scenes for hunters.

Travelling along country lanes in the Shenandoah Valley has inspired her to return to her oil painting.
